"Oh this place is nice. We stopped for brunch and we're pleasantly surprised. Service was excellent and there was no wait. We tried the blueberry pancake, chicken omelette, and the regular breakfast meal. Our waitress was attentive and engaging. The place is immaculate like eat off the floor clean. If you haven't stopped, you must try. My new favorite brunch place for sure."

"Got there and was extremely crowded. They sat us at a two person table which was very small and cold bc of the weather. They were accommodating and let us move to a warmer spot in the building which was nice. The staff there was very friendly. There was a crowd around the enterence that was letting cold drafts in there consistently though. We started out with coffee that wasn't the best tasting but kept us warm. We ordered the triple berry crepes and banana foster french toast with sides of bacon. All of the food tasted AMAZING though!!!! The berries were very fresh!!! The bacon was crispy too!! Very good food. But bc of the crowded atmosphere and long wait with no where to wait in the extreme cold we will pick another place to eat. Or order a carry out from there."

"This place was great!! We went on the day it opened. Service was top notch and to be honest, the food exceeded my expectations. Someone I met at the door said the food was great but they seen it as a bit pricey. I feel it was great and well worth the money. I’ll include pictures of the menu, but you get awesome portions! I know when you walk into a restaurant and the first thing you notice is a massive chrome espresso machine, you know there’s going to be top quality food, and that is exactly what we got. UPDATE 10/8/25 : if you Go to the maple spot, request Emily as your server! She was so spot on, very attentive and SOOO nice!! This has become our favorite breakfast spot and now we have a favorite waitress too!"

"I travel a lot. I've been here a couple weeks and tried out several spots around here. Maple Spot is BY FAR, HANDS DOWN, THE BEST breakfast place I've been....ever(I'm 40 btw). The staff are so friendly and that's only outshined by the quality of the food. I've tried many things on the menu, and everything is amazing. The picture, btw...is creme brulee French toast and it's mind blowing"

""I was not prepared for this place." "If I rated this place out of 5, it's a 10" "I can hardly get my mouth around the French toast bread" "I saw God" My husband is usually ambivalent at best about restaurants, but he was very vocal about how much he enjoyed his food experience here. To be prepared, unlike my husband, come with an appetite because the portions are quite substantial. The French toast may have only been two slices, but they were a solid inch thick. I'm excited to return to try more drinks and the lunch sandwiches."

"Maple Spot is the perfect balance of family dining with quality food and a modern, comfortable atmosphere. Kelly was fabulous and took wonderful care of us with her friendly personality and great humor. We also noticed that the owner came around and was really hands-on. This is something I love seeing in small businesses and you can tell he takes great pride in his restaurant’s success. The food was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully! They have gluten free waffle/pancake options and even make their own house, made triple berry jam- phenomenal! I had the lox avocado toast, which was the perfect salty and lemony balance with the toast (loved that they had sourdough as an option)! My guy had the skillet and we shared the raspberry crêpes, and both did not disappoint! We both remarked how clean the restaurant was, and even though it was busy, we were seated quickly and our food arrived promptly. I would love to come back again!"

"Wow! Maple Spot Brunch welcome to Macomb, so glad we finally tried it and will definitely be back with friends! The Blueberry Lemon Ricotta pancakes were amazing! My wife had from their seasonal menu; short rib, feta, green pepper, onion, potato & over easy eggs that was Out of This World DELICIOUS! The staff brought their A-game! Everyone and I mean Everyone greeted you with kind words and a smile! Very reasonable prices, too. Go support this amazing small business and you won’t regret it!"
